A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, Florence Chik-Lau was a graphic designer before she started working with clay. Her true-to-life ceramic animal sculptures are childlike, warm, humorous and full of personality. They aim to capture the spirits as well as the physical attributes of their animal subjects.
